Today marks exactly two years since we officially started operations and opened the doors of CitiSpace, a coworking space dedicated to serving the Gweru community. From the very first day, our goal has been to create an environment that fosters innovation, collaboration, and enterprise within the local tech and business ecosystem.
However, after careful evaluation and extensive deliberation, we have made the difficult decision to close CitiSpace. This was not an easy choice, and it comes with a deep sense of sadness, but unfortunately, we have no other option at this time. CitiSpace officially began its journey on 1 March 2021, and it has been an incredible experience to witness the community that has grown within our space. We are immensely grateful to every entrepreneur, freelancer, and creative who became part of our story.
The closure will take effect from 31 March 2023. While this chapter comes to an end, our commitment to our vision remains unshaken. We still believe in the mission of enabling a technology-driven community and enterprise, and we aspire to make a strong comeback in the future to continue the work we started.
